A Short History of Rideauview Contracts

Rideauview Contracts has been in the Natural Stone Product business for over 35 years and has built a solid reputation for quality, service, and customer satisfaction. The company has 22 employees with wide experience of working with natural stone, and with expertise ranging from drilling and blasting to carving, cutting, and manufacturing.

Rideauview Contracts is owned and operated by Wesley James (Jim) Jackson. It is located near Kingston in South Eastern Ontario, a region rich in deposits of the finest Limestone, Sandstone, and Granite.

Jim was born and raised in the small community of Sunbury, Ontario. As a teen, he started working in the stone industry. He opened his own business in Sunbury in 1972 with a small staff and a few pieces of used equipment. Over the years Rideauview Contracts has grown and Jim is a well known and respected businessman in the local community and the stone industry.
